a little tabico cat from istanbul, a shared word in three languages, and the warm, curious spirit behind everything we build.
in turkish, persian, and dutch — three languages that quietly meet in our home — the word baachee carries the same gentle meaning: little one. three different worlds, one tiny shared word. it felt right.
baachee was rescued by vahid on the streets of istanbul and raised by ezgi. she's a tabico — a tortoiseshell tabby calico — wearing white, ginger and charcoal like a tiny living mosaic. she made the journey from istanbul to the netherlands as an expat cat, much like the team that builds this studio.
she's small but full of opinions. fast, curious, soft, and a little dramatic — exactly the kind of energy we wanted near our work.
we first picked the name because it felt like the affection we have for our little one. then, while shaping the brand, we realised baachee already embodied what we wanted the studio to feel like — agile, curious, fast, and a little playful.
so baachee became more than a mascot. she's our catroid: a soft, sharp-eyed companion that sits on the corner of the screen and helps you find your way around the studio.
"we wanted the kind of AI that feels like a small, warm presence — not a loud robot. so we asked our cat to help."
